Key Responsibilities
1. Logistics Category Management
Manage procurement for domestic and international transportation, express delivery, freight forwarding, warehousing, and value‑added logistics services.
Develop category strategies based on business needs, market trends, and cost structures.
Conduct competitive bidding, supplier benchmarking, and contract negotiations to secure optimal commercial terms.
2. Supplier Sourcing & Evaluation
Identify, evaluate, and onboard logistics service providers across multiple regions.
Establish supplier qualification standards and conduct regular performance assessments.
Build and maintain a robust supplier base to support business expansion and multi‑warehouse operations.
3. Cost Optimization & Contract Management
Analyze logistics cost drivers and implement cost‑saving initiatives without compromising service quality.
Lead contract drafting, negotiation, renewal, and compliance management.
Monitor rate cards, billing accuracy, and service‑level adherence.
4. Logistics Performance & Risk Management
Track key logistics KPIs such as delivery timeliness, damage rate, warehouse efficiency, and transportation cost.
Identify operational risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure supply chain continuity.
Collaborate with logistics, warehouse, and operations teams to resolve service issues and improve end‑to‑end performance.
5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with supply chain, operations, finance, legal, and product teams to align procurement strategies with business goals.
Support new warehouse setup, logistics model upgrades, and cross‑border shipping initiatives.
Provide procurement insights and data analysis to support decision‑making.
6. Process Optimization & Digitalization
Improve procurement workflows, approval processes, and documentation standards.
Promote digital procurement tools and data‑driven decision‑making.
Ensure transparency, compliance, and traceability across all logistics procurement activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
5+ years of experience in logistics procurement, transportation management, or supply chain operations.
Strong negotiation skills and experience managing logistics service providers.
Solid understanding of domestic and international logistics models, warehousing operations, and cost structures.
Proficiency in data analysis and procurement systems.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
English proficiency; additional languages are a plus.
