(1) Portfolio Strategy
Lead the development of the company’s mid‑ to long‑term portfolio strategy.
Evaluate internal and external opportunities across multiple modalities or business lines.
Prioritize projects based on scientific merit, commercial potential, competitive landscape, and resource allocation.
Participate in executive decision‑making on portfolio governance and investment planning.
(2) In‑licensing & External Innovation
Identify, source, and evaluate global innovation opportunities, including technologies, platforms, assets, and strategic capabilities.
Lead scientific, commercial, and financial assessments of potential in‑licensing or partnership opportunities.
Drive due diligence, valuation, term sheet negotiation, and contract execution.
Build and maintain a global network of innovation partners, including companies, institutions, and investors.
(3) Global Business Development
Develop and execute the company’s global BD strategy.
Lead negotiations with partners across regions (North America, Europe, Asia‑Pacific, etc.).
Structure and execute collaboration models such as:
Co‑development
Technology/service partnerships
Licensing deals
Strategic alliances
Oversee deal execution from sourcing to closing and ensure smooth internal handover.
(4) Strategic Partnerships
Develop long‑term partnerships with global enterprises, emerging companies, and academic institutions.
Lead high‑level discussions on joint development, investment collaboration, or ecosystem building.
Represent the company at key industry events and conferences.
(5) Cross‑functional Leadership
Work closely with internal teams including R&D, operations, legal, finance, and strategy.
Ensure seamless execution of partnerships and commercial projects.
Serve as a core member of the executive leadership team.
(6) Team Building & Leadership
Build and lead BD, strategy, and commercial teams.
Establish a high‑performance, globally minded, results‑driven culture.
Mentor and develop future BD leaders.
职位要求
Advanced degree (PhD, MD, MBA, or equivalent preferred).
10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or portfolio strategy.
Proven track record in cross‑border deal making and partnership execution.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Fluent English; ability to work in global environments.
Demonstrated leadership experience in high‑growth or complex organizations.
