HR Business Partner (Sales)
Position Overview
The HR Business Partner (Sales) acts as a strategic advisor to the Sales leadership team, driving people strategies that enable business growth and organizational effectiveness. This role requires a seasoned HR professional with deep expertise across HR disciplines, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Business Partnership
Partner closely with Sales leaders to understand business goals, market dynamics, and organizational priorities.
Provide strategic HR insights to support business planning, workforce strategy, and organizational design.
Identify talent and organizational challenges within the sales function and develop targeted solutions.
2. Organizational Development & Effectiveness
Conduct organizational diagnostics to assess structure, capability, and efficiency.
Lead initiatives to enhance sales productivity, team effectiveness, and leadership capability.
Support the design and implementation of performance management frameworks tailored to sales roles.
3. Talent Management & Capability Building
Drive talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development for the sales organization.
Partner with L&D to design and deliver training programs for sales onboarding, skills development, and manager capability.
Support the development and optimization of sales incentive programs in partnership with Compensation teams.
4. Employee Relations & Engagement
Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
Promote a high‑performance, inclusive, and collaborative culture across the sales teams.
Lead engagement initiatives to strengthen morale, retention, and team cohesion.
5. HR Operations & Program Delivery
Ensure effective execution of core HR processes within the sales organization, including performance cycles, promotions, compensation reviews, and workforce planning.
Use HR analytics to provide insights on turnover, performance, productivity, and other key metrics.
Support company‑wide HR initiatives and ensure alignment with business needs.
Experience:
10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years as an HRBP.
Proven experience supporting sales teams (e.g., B2B, B2C, channel, field sales, enterprise sales).
Experience in multinational companies, high‑growth environments, or industries such as technology, consumer goods, or healthcare is preferred.
