ey Responsibilities
1. Quality Management
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) across internal and external manufacturing sites.
Ensure compliance with global and regional regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal quality policies.
Oversee product quality performance, including defect analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and supplier quality improvement.
Manage quality audits, certifications, and customer quality requirements.
Drive root‑cause analysis and implement robust quality controls to prevent recurrence of issues.
2. Production Operations
Oversee daily production activities to ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to production plans.
Optimize production capacity, workflow, and resource allocation to meet demand and service-level targets.
Monitor key operational KPIs such as throughput, yield, scrap rate, and on‑time delivery.
Collaborate with planning, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless production execution.
3. Supplier & Manufacturing Partner Management
Manage quality and operational performance of external manufacturing partners and key suppliers.
Conduct regular business reviews, performance assessments, and improvement initiatives with vendors.
Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards, technical specifications, and sustainability requirements.
4. Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
Implement standardized work processes, best practices, and digital tools to strengthen operational capabilities.
Drive cross‑functional problem‑solving and change‑management activities.
5. Team Leadership
Lead and develop a high‑performing quality and production team.
Provide coaching, training, and performance management to build technical and leadership capabilities.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in production, quality, or manufacturing operations, preferably in consumer goods, sporting goods, or related industries.
Strong knowledge of QMS, quality tools, and regulatory standards.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
Proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams and external manufacturing partners.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
