Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement supplier quality management strategies and standards for metal parts
Conduct supplier audits, evaluations, and certifications to ensure compliance with company requirements
Monitor supplier production processes, identify potential quality risks, and drive corrective actions
Handle supplier quality issues, including defect analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring supplier quality readiness and PPAP documentation
Establish and maintain supplier quality performance metrics (PPM, defect rate, delivery quality rate, etc.)
Provide technical guidance and training to suppliers to improve quality awareness and capabilities
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier quality and process stability
Ensure compliance with ISO9001, IATF16949, and other relevant quality management systems
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Quality Management, or related field
3–5 years of supplier quality management experience, with at least 2 years in metal components
Strong knowledge of metalworking processes (e.g., stamping, welding, casting, machining) and defect analysis
Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, PPAP, APQP, and 8D reports
Experience in supplier audits and certification processes; knowledge of ISO/IATF quality systems
Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Good command of English; ability to communicate with overseas suppliers is a plus
