The Business Controller plays a critical role in overseeing the strategic financial operations of the organization. This position ensures financial accuracy, compliance, and optimization, while also providing crucial insights to support data-driven decision-making. Reporting directly to the Plant Controller, the Business Controller is a key partner in driving financial health and operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Financial Integration & Project Management: The Business Controller is responsible for leading LN system integrations and project closures, ensuring meticulous month-end double-checks and alignment with standard cost updates.
● Cost Management & Analysis: A core function involves driving standard cost updates, reviewing costing vouchers, and conducting in-depth cost/PPV (Purchase Price Variance) analysis. They also review TP1 (Transfer Pricing) and component sales pricing to optimize profitability.
● Budgeting & Forecasting: This role leads the annual budget and rolling forecast (RP) processes, providing actionable insights to stakeholders to guide strategic decisions.
● Financial Reporting & Analysis: The Business Controller generates and analyzes diverse financial reports, such as KPIs and Month-End Management Reports, to support data-driven decision-making across the business.
● Internal Controls & Process Improvement: They are tasked with reviewing and enhancing internal control procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies, and actively supporting cross-functional Kaizen initiatives aimed at process improvement.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: The Business Controller plays a vital role in participating in and driving cross-functional Kaizen projects, leveraging tools like Google and AI to enhance business processes.
